Step 1: Create simple Antenna
Obtain a coaxial cable long enough to extend from your television to the nearest window in order to have the optimum reception. Step 2: Cut Copper Wire
You’re going to need 8 pieces of copper wire, make sure all of them are 17 inches long. To create the antenna, it is better to use 12-gauge uninsulated copper wire. Mark the lengths of 8 distinct sections that are 17 inches long with a marker with the help of a measurement tape. Cut the wires on your markings using a pair of wire cutters to make 8 pieces. Step 3: Bend the wire
Once the wires are cut it is time to bend the wire. The wire can be bent using the hands or a pair of pliers. It is a very easy job that can be done either way. Take one length of wire and bend it in half so that the ends are touching. Unbend the wire into a V shape with the ends separated by 3 inches. Step 4: Drill and feed the screws
Then you have to drill the board and set screws. During the drilling process Ensure that the holes are aligned so that the antenna ears are straight across from one another. Step 5: Wrap the copper wire around the screws
So you have a total of 8 antennas. Four of them will go to one side and the other four will be on another side. Raise one of the washers until it is pressed on the screw’s top. Place one of the antenna ears you bent beneath the washer, with the ends pointing out and away from the wood. To prevent the bend in the wire from moving or shifting, make sure it is tightly pressed against the screw’s base. Carry on with the rest of the screws in the same manner.
Step 6: Thread between the ears
Then you need to thread between the ears using copper wire. First Cut two pieces of copper wire to a length of 34 in. Wrap the wire’s end once around the board’s uppermost screw on the left side. On the right side of the board, wrap the wire around the second and third screws from the top. Bend the wire back toward the board’s left side, so it may go underneath the bottom left washer. Add the other wire, starting at the top right screw, crossing and going around the second and third screws on the left, and finishing at the bottom right screw.
Step 7: Tighten and tape the screw
By using the screwdriver tighten the screws so that it can hold the wires securely against the board. Now to keep the wires at the intersection from touching each other, wrap a piece of electrical tape around them. To keep the wires separated, tape the other intersection in the same way.
Step 8: Position the antenna
As the work is done, the antenna is complete. Now it is time to set the antenna to the right place. To get the optimum signal, keep the antenna upright.
