How to Make a Telescoping Antenna Mast
Step 1: Fix a Place
A mast must be erected in a permanent location. That means that after it’s installed, you won’t be able to move it. As a result, you must ensure that there is sufficient space available to install it. Prepare the area where the structure will be installed. With the assistance of a shovel, dig a 3×3 foot hole in the dirt. 3×3 feet is enough to make a strong base for the antenna.

Step 2: Prepare the Base

Step 4: Set Up the Rest of the Mast
Now take the 15-foot aluminum tube and measure the correct pivoting point. It should be placed at a distance of at least 5 feet. After that, drill a 1-inch hole in the aluminum tube.
Open a hole in the steel poles to insert a bolt. At a distance of 6 feet from the ground, the aluminum tube does not strike the ground when it is erected.

Step 6: The Finishing Touch
Finish the mast with the fiberglass tubes once you’ve put the mast bottom with the posts and the pulling mechanism is ready. You have to start the process with drilling. On the aluminum tube, drill a 1-inch hole. Make sure the hole is drilled two feet from the tube’s end. To connect these two tubes, use nuts and bolts. Arrange everything such that the 5-inch fiberglass tube sits on top of the 10-inch fiberglass tube. That setting is applied on top of the aluminum setting.
